A digital agency for restaurants.

Mule Digital builds websites and digital marketing for independent restaurants, cafes, and bars. Fast-loading sites that work on a phone in a parking lot, an honest menu page, and a Google Business Profile that actually drives walk-ins.

01 · How we frame it

What we know about restaurants.

Most restaurant websites we audit fail the same way: heavy hero images that load too slowly on mobile, a menu locked inside a PDF nobody opens, and a Google Business Profile that hasn't been updated since the previous manager. The fix isn't fancy — it's a fast site that reads on a phone, a menu in HTML, real photos of the actual food, and an active GBP that answers the questions customers are already asking on Google.

Our restaurant clients tend to be owner-operated, independent, and serving a regular crowd plus enough drop-in traffic to need a respectable web presence. We don't pretend to be the right fit for a chain; for a single location or a small group of locations, we are.

02 · Why we’re a fit

Why a restaurant picks Mule.

  • 01A menu page that loads in under two seconds on rural 4G — most of your customers are searching from a phone.
  • 02Google Business Profile setup and tuning included in the Full Suite tier — hours, photos, attributes, the works.
  • 03Real on-location content direction (we direct, we don't shoot photography). Stock food photos kill conversion; real plates earn trust.
  • 04No subscription website — own your hosting and your domain. Restaurants close, change concept, and pivot. The site shouldn't be locked to a vendor when that happens.
Common questions

From restaurants.

  • Do you do online ordering or reservations?

We integrate with whatever you already use — Toast, Square, OpenTable, Resy, Tock. We don't build a custom ordering platform; that's not where small-restaurant ROI lives. We make the existing tools feel native on your site.

  • Can you help with our Google Business Profile?

Yes — GBP setup and ongoing tuning is part of the Full Suite tier and available as a standalone service. Most small restaurants leave significant traffic on the table by under-using GBP. We fix the basics first, then optimize.

  • Do we need a blog?

Probably not. Most restaurant blogs go stale within a year and become a liability. Good menu pages, an active GBP, and real photography do more for a small restaurant than blog posts.

  • What about delivery apps — DoorDash, Uber Eats?

We can link them prominently from your site. We don't build deeper integrations because the delivery apps already provide their own ordering surface. Your job (and ours) is to make sure customers can find them from your site quickly.
