A digital agency for law firms.

Mule Digital builds websites for small and mid-size law firms — solo practitioners, small partnerships, and specialist firms. Sites that project competence the moment they load, attorney bios that read like a person wrote them, and a referral pipeline that actually attributes.

01 · How we frame it

What we know about law firms.

The defining tension in legal web design: ethics rules constrain claims and testimonials in many jurisdictions, while clients arrive expecting reassurance and a sense of who they're hiring. The good news is that those constraints actually align with what makes a good legal site — credentials over puffery, biography over slogans, clear practice areas over vague platitudes.

We've worked with practices across general civil, real estate, business law, family law, and trust & estate. We're not the right fit for big-law procurement — we're sized for firms with one to fifteen attorneys.

02 · Why we’re a fit

Why a legal practice picks Mule.

  • 01Attorney bios written like profiles, not press releases — credentials, practice areas, and a sentence of voice each.
  • 02Multilingual delivery where it matters (NL + FR for Brussels, EN for any market) with proper hreflang implementation.
  • 03Quiet, considered design — no stock photos of gavels or columns. Real photography of the actual office, the people, the city.
  • 04Structured data for LegalService and Attorney that makes the firm legible to Google's Knowledge Graph and AI search.
Common questions

From law firms.

  • Will you write ethically compliant copy for our jurisdiction?

Yes. We work from the client's bar guidelines (state bar in the US, ordre des avocats in BE, NOvA in NL) and avoid the patterns that trigger compliance issues — outcome claims without disclaimers, comparative superiority claims, undisclosed testimonials. We circulate copy for partner review before any page ships.

  • Do we need a blog with legal articles?

Sometimes yes. Long-form practice-area content reliably drives qualified search traffic for legal queries. It also has to be genuinely written by an attorney to satisfy E-E-A-T signals. We can co-write or ghost-write if a partner provides the substance and reviews the draft.

  • Can you build an intake form that integrates with our case management?

Most case-management tools (Clio, Smokeball, MyCase) accept intake form data via API or simple email forwards. We wire whatever's already in your stack. We don't build a custom intake CRM — that's outside the small-firm sweet spot.

  • Are you familiar with how Belgian or Dutch legal practices market online?

Yes — two of our founders are in Belgium, and we've built for advocacy practices working in Dutch and French. The cultural and regulatory differences from US legal marketing are real and we handle them natively.
