A digital agency for healthcare practices.

Mule Digital builds websites for small healthcare and wellness practices — independent medical, dental, chiropractic, mental health, physiotherapy, and adjacent specialties. Calm, credible sites that explain what the practice does, what to expect, and how to book.

01 · How we frame it

What we know about healthcare practices.

Healthcare website design has the highest sensitivity bar of any industry we work in. Visitors are anxious, often in pain, and looking for reassurance plus a clear next step. Heavy hero animations, marketing buzzwords, and stock photos of impossibly happy patients all push away the exact audience the site exists to serve.

We write healthcare sites the way we'd want one written for our own family: calm tone, real explanations of what each service involves, real photos of the actual practice and the actual people, and a booking path that's two clicks deep at most. Plus the compliance basics — HIPAA in the US, GDPR in the EU, no inadvertent PHI collection in form fields.

02 · Why we’re a fit

Why a practice picks Mule.

  • 01Calm, credible design — no stock-photo smiles, no growth-hacking copy, no animated hero loops that make the page feel like a software pitch.
  • 02Plain-language service explanations — what the procedure involves, what to expect, how long it takes. Not just a service list.
  • 03GDPR / HIPAA-aware form handling — no PHI in form fields by default, explicit consent, audit-friendly data paths.
  • 04Multilingual where the practice serves multilingual communities (Flemish, French, Dutch for Belgian/Dutch practices; English for international patients).
Common questions

From healthcare practices.

  • Is a Mule site HIPAA-compliant?

A static informational website by itself doesn't trigger most HIPAA technical requirements — there's no PHI on it. The complications arrive with intake forms and patient portals. We use Formspree-style endpoints that don't store PHI, and recommend dedicated HIPAA-compliant scheduling tools (e.g., NexHealth, Practice Better) for anything that touches patient data.

  • Do you integrate with our scheduling system?

Yes — most modern scheduling tools (Cal.com, Calendly, NexHealth, Practice Better, Jane App) embed cleanly. We'll wire whatever you already use. We don't build a custom booking system because the dedicated tools are better and cheaper.

  • Can you write the service-page copy if our practitioners don't have time?

Yes. We interview the practitioners (one 45-minute call per major service area is usually enough) and draft the copy. Practitioners review and approve before publication. The voice is theirs; we just do the typing.

  • What about reviews and testimonials?

We handle them carefully. Patient testimonials are heavily regulated in healthcare — some jurisdictions prohibit them, others require disclaimers. We default to no on-site testimonials unless the practitioner has confirmed compliance with their licensing body. Public Google reviews are fine to acknowledge.
