A digital agency for jewellers.
Mule Digital builds websites for independent jewellers, gem dealers, and custom-design studios. Quiet, photo-led sites that handle custom-design inquiries seriously, surface in-stock pieces well, and rank for the bridal and gift-buying searches that drive most of the business.
What we know about jewellers.
Jewellery has the highest emotional stakes of any retail category and the most photographable product. The site's main job is trust — visitors are making large purchases for emotionally loaded occasions, often online, often without ever meeting the jeweller. Most independent-jeweller sites we audit fail at this in a specific way: they use generic stock photos that could be any store in any town, they don't surface the actual jeweller's name or face, and they bury credentials (GIA, certifications, years in business) on a sub-page no one reads.
The fix is straightforward. Real photography of the actual pieces against a clean ground. A custom-design page with the jeweller's actual face and voice. Clear bridal and engagement-ring sections — that's where the high-intent traffic is. And a sane appointment flow for the buyer who wants to see a stone in person before committing.
Why a jeweller picks Mule.
- 01Real product photography direction with controlled lighting — jewellery is the one retail category where pro photography is non-negotiable, and we'll tell you who to hire.
- 02Custom-design inquiry path that captures budget, timeline, and reference images cleanly. Most jeweller inquiry forms produce one-line emails the studio can't quote against.
- 03Engagement-ring and bridal section structured for the high-intent search traffic; this is where the highest LTV customers find you.
- 04Schema.org structured data for Product and Service that surfaces in-stock pieces and design services to Google's shopping and AI surfaces.

Should we sell online?
Depends on the price point. Pieces under ~$1,500 sell online reasonably well with great photography and clear returns. Engagement rings and high-end custom almost always need an in-person or video consultation step — we build for that, not against it.
Can you handle inventory across our case and online?
Yes — Shopify with a POS sync, or Lightspeed, handles dual-channel inventory. The key is keeping the case the source of truth, not the website.
What about repairs, appraisals, and remounts?
Surface them prominently as separate service pages with a structured inquiry flow. These are often a quarter of revenue for an established jeweller and they barely appear on most jeweller sites.
Do you handle GIA, AGS, and lab certifications properly?
Yes. We surface certifications on every applicable product (linking to the issuing lab where possible) and treat them as primary trust signals rather than fine print.
