A digital agency for coffee shops.

Mule Digital builds websites for independent coffee shops, cafes, and small roasters. Honest sites that load on a phone in the order line, an active Google Business Profile that turns nearby searches into walk-ins, and a wholesale or subscription page that pays for itself if you roast.

01 · How we frame it

What we know about coffee shops.

Coffee is the rare small-business category where the customer is on their phone before they leave the house. They search "coffee near me," they read three Google reviews, they look at one or two photos, they decide. The site's job is to not lose that decision — fast load, current hours, a real photo of the actual space, and a tap-to-call or tap-to-directions button that works on the first try.

For roasters, the second job is wholesale. The buyers searching for a small-batch roaster — cafes, restaurants, offices — make decisions on a desktop with a different rhythm. A clean wholesale page with origin notes, current offerings, and a contact path beats a Shopify store with 40 SKUs and a checkout no one finishes.

02 · Why we’re a fit

Why a coffee shop picks Mule.

  • 01Tap-to-call, tap-for-directions, and current hours above the fold — most of the traffic is someone two blocks away on a phone.
  • 02Google Business Profile setup and tuning in the Full Suite tier — the highest-ROI channel for any coffee shop with a storefront.
  • 03Real photos of the actual bar, baristas, and roast. Stock coffee photography kills credibility instantly with the audience that knows good coffee.
  • 04Subscription or wholesale flow when it makes sense — Shopify, Stripe, or a simple form — sized to what your operation actually needs.
Common questions

From coffee shops.

  • Do you build online ordering for coffee shops?

We integrate Square, Toast, or whatever POS you already run. Custom ordering is rarely worth it for a single coffee shop — the existing tools work and they don't require us to be on the hook when something breaks.

  • Can you help with our Google Business Profile?

Yes — GBP is included in the Full Suite tier and available as a standalone. For coffee shops it's the single most underused channel; most owners have it claimed but not tuned, with old photos and the wrong hours during slow seasons.

  • Should a coffee roaster have a subscription model?

Sometimes. It works for roasters with a strong identity and a story buyers want a continuous relationship with. It doesn't work as a generic "coffee club" — those churn brutally. We'll be honest about which side of that line your roastery falls on before we build anything.

  • What about Instagram and TikTok?

Social drives coffee discovery more than most categories. We include a content cadence in the Full Suite tier and can direct shooting locally, but the site and GBP come first — social traffic that lands on a slow, ugly site is wasted attention.
