A digital agency for bakeries.

Mule Digital builds websites for independent bakeries, pastry shops, and small custom-cake studios. Fast pages with the day's menu, real photos of real loaves, custom-order paths that don't lose half the request, and an active Google Business Profile that catches the morning search rush.

01 · How we frame it

What we know about bakeries.

Bakery search has two distinct shapes. The first is "bakery near me" or "croissants [town]" — high-intent, on a phone, in the morning. The site that wins is the one with current hours, what's actually in the case today, and a real photo. The second is custom — wedding cakes, holiday orders, allergen-aware bakes — which moves slower and rewards a quiet, photo-led page with a tidy intake form.

Most bakery sites we audit get neither right. The hero is a stock photo of someone else's croissant, the menu hasn't been updated since the previous owner, and the custom-order link goes to a contact form that collects no useful information. Fixing this is straightforward and cheap, and it pays back in the first month.

02 · Why we’re a fit

Why a bakery picks Mule.

  • 01Daily-menu pattern — surface what's in the case today without a CMS that takes ten minutes to update.
  • 02Real photography direction of your actual product, your actual counter, your actual people.
  • 03Custom-order intake that collects the right details up front — date, servings, allergens, flavours — so you stop having the same email exchange three times.
  • 04Google Business Profile tuning included in the Full Suite tier; bakeries leave more GBP traffic on the table than almost any category.
Common questions

From bakeries.

  • Do you build online ordering for bakeries?

For day-of pickup we usually integrate Square or whatever POS you already use. For wedding and custom cakes we build an intake form, not a checkout — the price depends on a conversation, not a SKU.

  • Can you handle allergen and dietary callouts properly?

Yes. We label items with the major allergens, mark gluten-free / vegan / dairy-free clearly, and avoid the marketing-speak that makes those callouts look unreliable. Allergen accuracy is a legal and trust issue — we treat it that way.

  • What about wholesale to cafes and restaurants?

Add a quiet wholesale page with current SKUs, lead times, and a contact path. We don't build a B2B portal — the relationships are personal and the volume doesn't justify the build.

  • Do you write the copy?

Yes. We interview you in the slow window between morning rush and afternoon prep, and write from those notes. The voice ends up sounding like a baker who can hold a sentence, because that's what you are.
