Happy St. Patrick's Day. Whether you are Irish, a little Irish today, or just here for the excuse to have a good time, we hope you get to enjoy the day. From both of us at Mule Digital, here is a quick note and a word of advice each.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Go celebrate, have some corned beef, wear something green so nobody pinches you. The important stuff.

But real quick before you do. St. Patrick's Day is one of those holidays where local bars, restaurants, and shops see a massive spike in walk-in traffic from people who are just out having a good time and looking for somewhere to land. If you run that kind of business, today is a great reminder that people are going to search for you on their phone while they are already out. Right now. In the parking lot.

If your hours are wrong, your phone number is outdated, or your Google listing has not been touched in six months, you are going to lose people who were already basically at your door. That is a frustrating thing to miss. Fix the little stuff so the holiday traffic actually makes it to you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day.

My advice today is about momentum. Holidays create short windows where people are more likely to discover and try new businesses. The ones that show up in search and look credible get the benefit. The ones that do not, do not.

You do not need a themed campaign or a big green graphic to take advantage of that. You need a website that loads, a phone number that works, and a Google Business Profile that actually reflects what your business does right now. That is the baseline. Most businesses in smaller markets are not even there yet. If you are, you are already ahead. If you are not, it is worth prioritizing before the next busy weekend comes around, because they keep coming.

Hope you get to step away from the screen today and have a proper good time. We will be back with the regular programming next week.
